Do you often have an opportunity to invest and grabs the cool prizes from Great Buidings, but you do not know how much toss to block competition and ensure you right place? In this post we will show you a simple way to calculate – how much to invest

Himeji Castle, Great Building in Forge of Empires Himeji Castle, one of the great buildings of the Virtual Future, is beneficial for those players who fight every day, independent where they do it: on the province map, in the guild expedition, in gvg or against neighbors. But this great building will not make military units stronger.

• Great Buildings. The higher the building's level, the more powerful the bonus becomes and the greater the amount of forge points are needed to reach the next level. Details on the forge-point costs and bonuses can be found in the respective posts of each building.
• Monte is the best here as it gives Forge Points alongside attack bonus. Zeus and Aachen are also good as they are easy to level. I wouldn't bother levelling those 2 above 10, though (unless you have more FPs than you need and no other GB).

High level of Great Building. Several hundred points to end the level, but a high number of returning forgepoints, blueprints and medals prompted us to invest fast packages of points and jump over other investors. The problem arises – how much to invest to block other and gain as much as possible?

We realize that this is not so simple. Therefore, in the next post we will present a free calculator to perform these calculations!

Basically, this requires some mathematical calculation. We will calculate on example of Great Building “X”

GB “X”, actually invested 1000/2000 forge points. The following players invested
Player “A” – 400 FP
Player “B” – 250 FP
Player “C” – 200 FP
Player “D” – 100 FP
Player “E” – 50 FP

Example of rewards form GB:
For 1 place – 500 FP, 10 blueprints, 5000 medals
For 2 place – 250 FP, 7 blueprints, 2500 medals
For 3 place- 85 FP, 5 blueprints, 1250 medals
For 4 place – 20 FP, 4 blueprints, 625 medals
For 5 place – 5 FP, 3 blueprints, 313 medals

Example 1 – when You didn’t invest even a single point

Let’s say You have quite a lot of packages to think about attacking 1st place, and you did not invest even a single point. Player “A” added 400 points and leads, but for grabs is up to 500 FP for 1st place. Remaining 1000 FP to the end of GB. How much you need to invest?

Formula:

Step 1: (cost of construction of GB to the next level) – (already invested points) = (how much to end of level):

2000 FP – 1000 FP = 1000 FP

Step 2: (how much to end of level) + (how much invested a player, which you want to overtake) = (result)

1000 FP + 400 FP = 1400 FP

Step 3: (result) / 2 [divided twice]

1400 FP / 2 = 700 FP

To ensure a 1st place in this GB, you have to invest 700 FP

Is that certain? Let’s check. If you immediately invest 700 FP, there will be 1700/2000 already invested. 300 to the end. Player “A” can invest no more than 300 FP (then both You and the player “A” will have invested 700 points). Player “A” may at least align Your result, but he will not be able to overtake You. Your 1st place is not at risk! The same calculation can be done for any other place in the GB (eg. second, third, and other). Of course, if you calculate yourself how many points need to ensure, for example, place 4, the players who gave more points can overtake You, but it alwyas gives You at least 4th place.

Example 2 – if You have invested a little.How to download battle for middle earth 2.

Let’s assume that You are player “B” and You have already invested 250 FP. You want to overtake player “A” who is on first place and who invested 400 FP so we lose to him 150 FP. Then the calculation will be slightly more difficult:

Formula:

Step 1: (cost of construction of GB to the next level) – (already invested points) = (how much to end of level):

2000 FP – 1000 FP = 1000 FP

Step 2: (how much invested a player, which you want to overtake) – (how much you already invested) = (how much less you invested than the player, which you want to overtake)

400 FP – 250 FP = 150 FP

Step 3: (how much to end of level) + (how much less you invested than the player, which you want to overtake) = (result)

1000 FP + 150 FP = 1150 FP

Krok 4: (result) / 2 [divided twice]

1150 FP/2 = 575 FP

To block 1st place in this GB, you need to invest 575 FP more (in total you will have inwested 250 + 575 = 825 FP).

Is that certain? Let’s check. If you immediately invest 575 FP, in GB will be 1575/2000 FP. To the end will remain 425 FP. Player “A” will be able to put no more than 425 FP, so you and player “A” will have the same numver of FP invested. Player “A” can’t overtake you. The same calculation can be done for any other place in Great Building (for example if you wish to attack 2nd postion from 5th or any other combination). Of course, if you count how much you need to take for exmaple 4th position, other player will be able to overtake you and take higher places, but nobody will be able to throw you out from 4th place.

Example 3 – if you want to block the place that you are already on.

Let’s say, that you have invested some points and now you are on some nice place, for example on 1st, and you want to block it, that nobody could overtake you. Then the way of calculation will be a little different.

Formula:

Step 1: (cost of construction of GB to the next level) – (already invested points) = (how much to end of level):

2000 FP – 1000 FP = 1000 FP

Step 2: (how much you already invested) – (how much invested a player on the next place) = (how much more you invested than the next player)

400 FP – 250 FP = 150 FP

Step 3: (how much to end of level) – (how much more you invested than the next player) = (result)

1000 FP – 150 FP = 850 FP

Step 4: (result) / 2 [divided twice]

850 FP/2 = 425 FP

Is that certain? Let’s check. IF you immediately invest 425 FP, in GB will be 1425/2000 FP. 675 to the end. The player from 2nd place will be able to invest no more than 675 FP (then you and player “B” will have the same number of invested points, so he can’t overtake you). Your first place is not in danger. Of course, if you count how much you need to take for exmaple 4th position, other player will be able to overtake you and take higher places, but nobody will be able to throw you out from 4th place.

If you know how to count, you will be able not only to know how much you need to invest, but also if such investition is even profitable.
